LibriVox
is a group of worldwide volunteers who read, record and distribute
free domain books. It was founded in August 2005 by Hugh McGuire. The
objective of LibriVox is "To make all books in the public domain
available, for free, in audio format on the internet". As on
April 2019 it has a collection of 12,788 books most of the books are
in English language but many non English books are also available.
Thes books are available in MP3 and Ogg Vorbis file formats. LibriVox
is associated with Project Gutenberg from where the project gets some
of its texts, and the Internet Archive that hosts their offerings.
The website has a catalogue of its collection. You can browse by
author, title, genre/subject and language. You can further filter
your search using adavanced search option. You can download and
listen free audio books at https://librivox.org/ .
